Buyer seeks qualified sign language interpreters to provide services to Deaf individuals in various settings for all Executive Branch agencies. This contract will create a list of pre-qualified interpreters who will receive job assignments through MCDHH's Interpreter/CART Referral Service. The contract is open to individual interpreters with W-9 status as individuals or sole proprietors, not businesses. Buyer aims to increase the number and diversity of ASL/English Interpreters, Deaf Interpreters, and CART Providers across Massachusetts.

- Must be an individual interpreter (not a business)
- Must have MMARS Vendor Code and COMMBUYS Registration
- Must meet MCDHH's requirements for certification and/or state screening
- Must have no significant criminal offender record
- Must have no documented adverse history with MCDHH
- Provide sign language interpretation services for Deaf individuals in various settings
- Maintain active COMMBUYS registration and MMARS vendor code
- Submit interpreting certification and/or state screening documentation
- Accept job assignments through MCDHH's Interpreter/CART Referral Service
- Maintain interpreting certification without breaks
- Complete CORI background check process
- Submit electronic responses through COMMBUYS system
- Adhere to contract quality assurance standards
- Interpret for Deaf, oral deaf, DeafBlind, late deafened, and hard of hearing individuals
- Provide documentation of years of experience in interpretation services
- Accept electronic funds transfer payment method
- Offer prompt payment discount options if possible
- Document and disclose any past contract sanctions or terminations
- Submit MCD10 application form and supporting documentation
- Provide evidence of certification from RID/NAD or BEI
- Maintain active status as an individual interpreter or sole proprietor
- Comply with Executive Order 515 for environmentally preferable services
- Complete required Commonwealth contract forms upon award
- Disclose any breaks in certification history
- Accept rolling enrollment throughout the contract period
