Healthy Children's Fund - Peer Support Expansion Contractor

Buyer seeks a qualified agency to coordinate, implement, and expand an evidence-based peer support model. The contractor will facilitate peer support groups for parents and caregivers during pregnancy and with children ages 0-5 throughout Whatcom County. The model must be trauma-responsive, culturally responsive, healing-centered, and de-stigmatizing. Services will focus on vulnerable children's families to reduce childhood trauma and increase overall well-being.

• Active license to do business in Washington State
• Current Federal Tax ID Number
• Must be legally-constituted entity (non-profit, sole proprietorship, partnership, etc.)

• Coordinate, implement, and expand an evidence-based peer support model
• Identify, recruit, and onboard peer support group facilitators
• Provide training and ongoing support for peer facilitators
• Coordinate outreach for organizations hosting peer support groups
• Facilitate peer support groups for parents and caregivers
• Maintain fidelity to the evidence-based peer support model
• Implement culturally responsive and trauma-informed approaches
• Develop compensation guidelines for peer facilitators
• Collect and report data on program efficacy
• Expand peer support groups countywide for families with children 0-5
