Buyer seeks qualified professionals to provide Preadmission Screening and Resident Review (PASRR) services for nursing facility applicants and residents. The contractor will perform psychiatric reviews and quality assurance on evaluations for individuals with mental illness. The program ensures residents transition to supportive environments while providing specific recommendations for care plans. Buyer intends to award multiple fee-for-service contracts to evaluate applicants and identify appropriate placement and specialized services needed.

• Licensed to do business in Washington State
• Licensed as Psychiatrist, Clinical Psychologist, or Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
• 1-2 years experience with complex medical and behavioral health needs
• Experience with written communication and documentation
• Experience with electronic health systems
• Access to personal computer, email, phone and Adobe Pro

• Conduct psychiatric reviews of PASRR evaluations
• Perform quality reviews for initial psychiatric evaluations
• Evaluate nursing facility applicants or residents with mental illness
• Document treatment recommendations and specialized services needed
• Verify accuracy of assessment documentation in WISP system
• Provide clinical feedback on treatment plans
• Validate mental illness diagnoses and determine need for specialized services
• Review test instruments and clinical justifications for psychiatric diagnoses
• Evaluate clinical competence of other PASRR evaluators
• Ensure recommendations are appropriate for clinical and psychiatric diagnoses
