Buyer seeks qualified firm to conduct feasibility study for new police station. The project includes developing conceptual architectural drawings and site plans for approximately 10,000 SF two-story facility. If determined feasible and funding is secured, the selected firm may provide detailed design plans, specifications, and construction management services. Buyer is currently evaluating several locations in the area for the new facility.
- 8/1/2025 - Anticipated conceptual design start
- 8/6/2025 - Proposal Due Date
- 8/13/2025 - Selection Committee recommendation to Town Board
- 8/20/2025 - Town Board Meeting for consideration and action
- 12/1/2025 - Anticipated conceptual design completion

- Attend project kick-off meeting to discuss police department spacing needs
- Evaluate exterior building options including brick, vinyl, and steel
- Evaluate cost-effective interior building options and HVAC systems
- Consider solar energy options such as rooftop panels
- Develop three design options for building envelope with cost estimates
- Prepare draft site concept plans addressing stormwater and parking needs
- Consider environmental factors per SEQRA regulations
- Attend meetings with Town and consultant staff throughout study period
- Participate in two public information meetings
- Create conceptual architectural drawings for new 10,000 SF police facility
