Buyer is seeking professional engineering services to rehabilitate four bridges to address structural deficiencies. The project involves preparing plans, specifications, and cost estimates for repairs including erosion mitigation, asphalt approaches, joint seal replacement, deck sealing, and barrier replacement. The selected consultant will conduct site surveys, prepare environmental documentation, coordinate with utility owners, and provide design and construction support services. These repairs are necessary to maximize the lifespan of the bridges.

• Prepare bridge rehabilitation plans for four existing bridges
• Conduct field surveys and structural inspections
• Prepare environmental documentation and obtain NEPA Categorical Exclusion
• Develop erosion mitigation solutions
• Design joint seal replacement and deck sealing
• Coordinate with utility owners throughout design
• Prepare utility conflict maps and pothole existing utilities
• Develop construction phasing and traffic control plans
• Prepare specifications and engineer's estimate
• Provide bid support and design support during construction
• Prepare as-built drawings upon project completion
• Preserve and perpetuate survey monuments
• Prepare and submit Preliminary Environmental Study (PES)
• Prepare barrier replacement designs
• Develop asphalt approach rehabilitation details
• Research Caltrans Bridge Inspection Reports
• Conduct comprehensive site surveys
• Obtain required permits for construction
• Prepare rights of entry documentation
• Attend project meetings throughout design and construction
