Buyer seeks a qualified organization to provide comprehensive medical and mental health services at the Grand Traverse County Jail. Services include 24/7 medical staffing, psychiatric care, crisis intervention, medication management, and treatment planning. The contract term will be from January 1, 2026, through December 31, 2027, with an option to renew for an additional year under the same terms and conditions. Buyer requires services that comply with applicable standards including Michigan Mental Health Code and NCCHC standards.

- Provide 24/7 qualified medical staff coverage in the jail
- Deliver medications to inmates and maintain pharmaceutical oversight
- Perform mental health assessments and develop treatment plans
- Coordinate off-site medical services including x-rays and specialist consultations
- Provide weekly psychiatric services including medication management
- Deliver 24/7 crisis stabilization services for inmates in mental health crisis
- Maintain complete and accurate medical and mental health records
- Conduct suicide prevention monitoring and intervention
- Provide medical supervision and training for jail staff
- Participate in Medically Assisted Treatment (MAT) program
- Assist with court-ordered blood draws and bodily fluid sample collection
- Develop and maintain medical and mental health policies and procedures
- Deliver individual therapy and group services for inmates
- Provide continuity of care planning and community reintegration referrals
- Maintain quality assurance program with performance measurement
- Evaluate inmates for removal from crisis watch
- Furnish all necessary medical equipment and supplies
- Provide emergency health care for staff and visitors until EMS arrives
- Participate in administrative and performance review meetings
- Respond to all routine mental health service requests
