Buyer is seeking qualified firms to provide branding and graphic design services for Student Nutrition Services programs and spaces. The services will support upgrades to existing cafeterias and the creation of a Central Kitchen funded through the 2024 Proposition A Bond Program. Buyer intends to create a pool of design firms for projects focused on marketing, interior design, and graphic design. Projects are anticipated to commence in fall 2025 with completion within four years.

- Select appropriate furniture for cafeteria renovations
- Conduct outreach and gather community feedback
- Develop cohesive brand identity across multiple platforms
- Create interior designs for school cafeterias
- Design promotional materials and merchandise
- Conduct student and community focus groups
- Develop phased installation plans for occupied facilities
- Assess existing cafeteria spaces for upgrades
- Create student nutrition program marketing materials
- Design uniforms for food service staff
- Lead design workshops with students and parents
- Create interior elevations and as-built designs
- Develop project scope and budget recommendations
- Review architectural designs produced by others
- Support bidding, construction, and installation phases
- Create implementation plans for historic school facilities
- Ensure uninterrupted cafeteria operations during renovations
