Buyer is soliciting proposals from qualified firms of certified public accountants to audit its financial statements and perform single audits. The initial contract term is for fiscal year ending December 31, 2025, with four potential one-year renewals through 2029. The auditor will evaluate financial statements in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and government auditing standards. Buyer requires both preliminary audit work in December and final audit fieldwork in March.

• Must be primarily engaged in similar services for at least 24 months
• Must be certified public accountants
• Must have capability to fully perform all contract requirements
• Must have relevant experience, integrity, and reliability

• Audit financial statements in accordance with GAAP and Government Auditing Standards
• Perform single audit for federal assistance programs
• Assess internal control structure and compliance with regulations
• Provide reports on fair presentation of financial statements
• Issue reports on internal control structure and compliance
• Draft Management Discussion and Analysis section
• Provide ongoing consultation throughout the year
• Conduct preliminary audit in December and final audit in March
• Present findings to Board of County Commissioners
• Advise Finance department on new GASB pronouncements
