Buyer seeks an experienced entity to develop and implement public awareness activities that promote the inclusion of people with developmental disabilities. Buyer requires professional services in communications, marketing, and public relations to maintain their web presence, manage social media, create content, and develop accessible materials. The project aims to increase awareness of the value of including people with developmental disabilities in all aspects of community life and support the mission of the Council.

• At least five years of experience in communications or marketing
• Experience working with disability organizations or community organizations
• Experience in website design and social media management

• Website updates, hosting, accessibility, and maintenance
• Social media account management across multiple platforms
• Content development and digital advertising
• Photography including headshots of Council members and staff
• Publicizing Council projects and initiatives via various channels
• Developing accessible materials including press releases and reports
• Designing and distributing the ACDD Annual Report
• Supporting Five-Year State Plan promotional activities
• Providing analytics for public awareness campaigns
• Attending Council events and disability-related functions
• Promoting positive perceptions of people with developmental disabilities
• Staying informed on developmental disability news and topics
• Providing technical assistance as needed
• Creating accessible graphics and promotional materials
• Designing accessible flyers, brochures, and handouts
