Buyer seeks a contractor to publish KANSAS! magazine, a 64+ page full-color tourism consumer interest magazine published at least five times a year. The project includes editorial production, design, advertising, and potential printing services. Additional products include an annual calendar and a KANSAS! Kids edition. The contractor will work closely with Kansas Tourism to ensure content aligns with tourism marketing initiatives and inspires travel throughout the state.

• Five years continuous active participation in the applicable industry

• Develop editorial content for five annual magazine issues
• Create high-quality photography and artwork for magazine
• Design and produce magazine layout and production
• Manage advertising sales and revenue opportunities
• Produce an annual wall calendar
• Create a kids' edition of the magazine
• Develop and coordinate writer and photographer assignments
• Provide digital versions with live links
• Manage printing, mailing and shipping of publications
• Grow brand awareness through retail and ancillary products
