Buyer seeks a qualified architectural firm to provide professional services on an as-needed basis supporting airport infrastructure and development projects. The firm will assist with facility planning, design, and construction support for various projects including terminal renovations, corporate hangars, and ARFF buildings. Services include architectural design, project management, technical studies, and construction support. The initial contract period is one year with three possible one-year renewals.

• 7/22/2025 - Proposal Due Date
• 7/27/2025 - Proposal Review and Evaluation
• 8/4/2025 - Interviews/Negotiations

• Experience providing architectural services for airports or transportation facilities
• Licensed to practice architecture in Virginia
• Experience working with FAA, Virginia Department of Aviation, and local agencies
• Team with qualified professionals experienced in airport architectural projects

• Conduct facility assessments and space utilization studies
• Develop terminal design and construction documents
• Create airport building renovations and expansions
• Perform architectural feasibility studies
• Design corporate hangars for aviation technology park
• Coordinate with airport's contracted engineering firm
• Prepare conceptual design renderings and visualizations
• Ensure ADA accessibility compliance in all designs
• Provide construction administration and oversight services
• Develop phasing plans for terminal improvements
