Buyer seeks qualified CPA firm to audit its financial statements for fiscal year ending December 31, 2025, with option for three subsequent years. Buyer operates a 47-mile toll highway around Denver's eastern perimeter. Buyer provides tolling services through ExpressToll and License Plate Toll systems, and also provides back-office tolling services to other entities. Buyer requires audit completion by May 15 each year.

  • Five years experience auditing large capital projects within last ten years
  • Five years experience auditing agencies without federal/state funding within last ten years
  • Five years experience auditing tolling transactions within last ten years
  • Five years experience auditing transportation projects within last ten years
  • Five years experience auditing governmental agencies within last ten years
  • CPA in good standing with Colorado Board of Accountancy
  • Five years knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles within last ten years
  • Five years knowledge of auditing standards within last ten years
  • Prepare Independent Auditor's Report on annual financial statements
  • Participate in annual audit planning session with Authority staff
  • Express opinion on fair presentation of Authority's financial position
  • Review and report on internal control over financial reporting
  • Review supplementary information required by GASB
  • Review Annual Comprehensive Financial Report and suggest improvements
  • Attend Audit Committee and Board meetings to present results
  • Perform tests of compliance with laws, regulations, and contracts
  • Apply procedures to Management's Discussion and Analysis
  • Provide support for investment and bond analysis when needed
