Future Comprehensive Forest Lands Management Solution

Buyer is seeking information on developing a comprehensive forest lands management solution. The system will support key programs of the Division of Lands and Forests including tracking 25 million trees to be planted by 2033 and open space conservation goals. Buyer needs to replace multiple legacy systems with a single integrated solution capable of managing both private and state forests. The solution should include public-facing portals, mobile functionality, and integrate with geospatial technologies.

• Develop data system to track planting of 25 million trees by 2033
• Integrate forest and conservation management of State lands
• Create public-facing portal with reporting, dashboards, and GIS maps
• Manage private forest lands including 480a Tax Law program
• Track DEC-owned State forests including inventory and timber sales
• Support Real Property tracking database functionality
• Implement Saratoga Tree Nursery point-of-sale and inventory system
• Provide mobile access and geospatial integration
• Migrate existing data from legacy databases
• Support tracking forest conservation and land acquisition programs
