Buyer seeks proposals from professional learning organizations to provide mentor and mentee training for Alabama's Principal Mentoring program. The program supports new principals during their first two years to enhance leadership capabilities. Buyer needs a vendor with proven experience in principal mentoring services tailored for Alabama's school leaders. The selected vendor will recruit and manage mentors, facilitate training, and collaborate with the state to implement the School Principal Leadership and Mentoring Act.

- Must be registered with Alabama Department of Finance as a State Vendor
- Cannot be employed in a school system
- Must have experience with Alabama School Leadership Standards
- Manage day-to-day activities of the Principal Mentoring program
- Hire and onboard mentors and a mentor coordinator
- Facilitate mentor training sessions, both in-person and virtual
- Compensate mentors and mentor coordinator based on developed salary structure
- Collaborate with ALSDE to ensure timely site visits with mentees
- Implement ALSDE Principal Mentor program materials with fidelity
- Plan and host stakeholder group meetings (3 in-person, 4 virtual)
- Provide participant surveys, response data, and training rosters
- Submit meeting agendas for approval before dissemination
- Submit quarterly financial reports and invoices for payment
- Recruit mentors with Alabama principal leadership standards knowledge
- Support new principals during their first two years in leadership roles
- Develop compensation structure based on state guidelines
- Ensure program compliance with School Principal Leadership and Mentoring Act
- Provide comprehensive professional development aligned with Alabama leadership standards
- Track principal retention, school climate, and student outcome metrics
- Collaborate with state education leaders to improve school leadership
- Maintain detailed records of mentor-mentee interactions and progress
- Implement innovative strategies for educational leadership development
- Design training tailored specifically for Alabama's school leaders
