Buyer seeks consulting engineering services for the replacement of Bridge No. 055012 on Doherty Road. The project will be partially funded through the Connecticut DOT Local Bridge Program. Services include investigation, design, permitting, and construction administration for the bridge replacement. The consultant will assist with DOT grant funds administration and prepare all necessary permits and approvals.

- Experience with at least five similar bridge replacements in last eight years
- Availability of proposed team for this project
- Prepare supplemental application for Connecticut DOT Grant funds
- Conduct hydrologic and hydraulic studies for bridge replacement
- Perform wetlands delineation and environmental assessments
- Prepare permit applications for DEEP and Army Corps of Engineers
- Evaluate structural alternatives for bridge replacement
- Conduct geotechnical investigations including soil borings
- Develop complete bridge design plans and specifications
- Assist with bidding process and evaluate contractor submissions
- Provide construction administration and daily inspection services
- Prepare as-built drawings in AutoCADD format
