Buyer is seeking proposals for audits of its financial statements for the fiscal years ending September 30, 2025, and September 30, 2026. Buyer is a state agency serving as the legislative audit agency for the State of Alabama. The audits must comply with generally accepted auditing standards and Government Auditing Standards. The work will be performed at buyer's Montgomery, Alabama location.

• 7/18/2025 - Proposal Due Date
• 1/16/2026 - FY 2025 Audit Completion
• 1/15/2027 - FY 2026 Audit Completion

• Membership in American Institute of Certified Public Accountants
• Membership in Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants
• Demonstrated experience providing financial audits to state/federal funded agencies

• Conduct financial statement audits for fiscal years 2025 and 2026
• Ensure compliance with generally accepted auditing standards
• Apply standards applicable to financial audits in Government Auditing Standards
• Complete 2025 audit by January 16, 2026
• Complete 2026 audit by January 15, 2027
• Review books, financial records, and financial statements
• Coordinate with Administrative Division for access to financial materials
• Provide evidence of firm's expertise in governmental auditing
• Document qualifications of personnel assigned to the engagement
• Submit detailed cost breakdown for services
