Buyer seeks qualified firms to perform plan review and inspection services for Municipal and Zoning Code compliance. Services include reviewing construction plans and conducting inspections for new construction, additions, renovations, and remodeling projects. The initial contract term is one year with options for two additional one-year extensions. Buyer requires timely plan reviews and on-site inspections with proper documentation and reporting.

• 8/31/2025 - Estimated City Council Approval
• 9/1/2025 - Contract Start Date

• ICC, NFPA, IDPH certifications or equivalent experience
• Experience with building inspection, plan review, or construction management
• Sufficient resources to accomplish required tasks within schedule

• Review construction plans for code compliance
• Perform building, zoning, and energy code plan reviews
• Complete mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire systems reviews
• Provide inspection services for permitted construction projects
• Submit plan review letters within specified timeframes
• Conduct on-site inspections and provide inspection reports
• Certify plans conform to adopted building codes
• Maintain inspection logs and documentation
• Review for compliance with accessibility standards
• Coordinate with City staff on permit processes
