Signage Design for the Foley Family Community Pavilion and Wetzel Native Plant Garden

Buyer is seeking qualified contractors to provide design and copyediting services for three permanent interpretive signs. Two signs will be installed at the Foley Family Community Pavilion and one sign will replace an existing sign at the Wetzel Native Plant Garden. The signage must include content in both English and Spanish and be consistent with the Community Services Department's design standards. All work must be completed before September 30, 2025 to ensure the Pavilion can receive its Certificate of Occupancy.

• Successfully performed projects of similar character and scope
• Minimum of three relevant past projects in California within last 5 years
• Demonstrated experience with interpretive signage design

• Review branding standards and existing content provided by City
• Create preliminary signage location plans for three interpretive signs
• Develop conceptual design directions with representative sketches for review
• Finalize design drawings and specifications based on City feedback
• Edit existing content for both English and Spanish display
• Create full-size mockups for approval
• Develop detailed documentation including elevations, dimensions, and fabrication details
• Solicit and review quotes from qualified signage production vendors
• Coordinate with production vendors throughout fabrication process
• Conduct on-site meeting to develop punch list at project completion
