Buyer seeks a qualified CPA firm to perform annual financial audits and federal Single Audits for three fiscal years (2025-2027). The services include preparing financial reports, management letters, and providing consulting services as needed. The auditor will evaluate internal controls, compliance with regulations, and present findings to city officials. The engagement requires expertise in governmental accounting standards and federal single audit requirements.

• 12/31/2027 - Financial Statement Due for FY 2027

• Independent and licensed to practice in Michigan
• No conflict of interest with the city
• Adherence to RFP instructions
• Experience with governmental auditing and accounting

• Perform annual financial audit for fiscal years 2025-2027
• Conduct federal Single Audit and prepare required reports
• Issue Independent Auditor's Report with findings and questioned costs
• Prepare Management Letter with recommendations and governance communications
• Present audit findings to Mayor and City Council at public meeting
• Prepare financial statements with required supplemental information
• Evaluate internal controls and compliance with laws/regulations
• Identify reportable conditions and material weaknesses
• Report any illegal acts, irregularities, or fraud immediately
• Provide professional consulting services as requested
