- Experience with municipal auditing engagements of comparable size
- Sufficient qualified staff to complete work within timeframes
- Conduct annual financial statement examination and records audit
- Express opinion on financial statements' conformity with accounting principles
- Conduct single audit for one major program
- Identify management weaknesses and propose corrections
- Prepare and submit draft Comprehensive Annual Financial Report
- Review systems of internal control
- Issue comfort letters for bond sales if needed
- Present findings to City Commission
- Prepare annual financial report for Department of Financial Services
- Coordinate with Finance Director for phased audit approach
