Buyer seeks qualified firms to provide Utility Locate Services for underground water and sewer infrastructure. The contractor will supplement internal resources to handle increased locate requests due to regional growth. Services include standard locates using electromagnetic methods, advanced locates with GPR, and proper documentation of all locate activities. • Five years experience in utility locating services
• Experience with 60,000+ customer utility systems
• Three successfully completed utility locating contracts
• Capability to perform standard and advanced locates
• Resources to manage high volumes of locate tickets
• Compliance with OSHA and NC Underground Damage Prevention Act

• Locate and mark underground water and sewer infrastructure
• Respond to NC811 locate tickets within statutory timeframes
• Provide photo documentation of completed locates
• Perform standard locates using electromagnetic induction methods
• Conduct advanced locates using ground penetrating radar (GPR)
• Submit positive response codes to NC811
• Document unlocatable facilities with proper notification
• Coordinate with UCW staff on complex locates
• Investigate damage incidents to underground infrastructure
• Maintain digital records of all locate activities
