Buyer seeks proposals from qualified not-for-profit organizations and community providers to utilize Opioid Settlement Funding. Funding will support initiatives in four key areas: Prevention (10%), Treatment (35%), Recovery (35%), and Harm Reduction (20%). Proposals should address services that are currently lacking or require expansion in Cortland County. Buyer requires detailed budgets showing funding at 100%, 50%, and 25% levels.

• Must be a qualified not-for-profit organization or community provider

• Design evidence-based prevention programs to discourage opioid misuse
• Develop treatment services for Opioid Use Disorder and co-occurring conditions
• Create recovery support services including peer support and case management
• Implement harm reduction strategies to prevent overdose deaths
• Distribute naloxone and provide training on its use
• Develop sustainability plans for project continuation after funding ends
• Establish connections to care for at-risk individuals
• Provide supportive housing or residential treatment options
• Train healthcare providers on proper opioid prescribing practices
• Support community-based education initiatives targeting youth and families
