The contract includes a three-year initial term with two one-year options. Services include preparing GASB-compliant financial statements, conducting federal grant audits, and issuing recommendations for internal control improvements. The buyer's fiscal year 2024 audit was the final year under the existing agreement with Hayes & Associates, LLC.

• Extensive experience in audits of local governments
• Successfully completed peer review
• Experience with Engagement software

• Perform comprehensive financial audit of all county funds
• Prepare basic financial statements compliant with GASB pronouncements
• Conduct single audit on federal grant expenditures
• Issue management letter with recommendations for internal control improvements
• Prepare and file required annual reports
• Submit Data Collection Form for reporting (Form SF-SAC)
• Document understanding of the County's internal control structure
• Ensure compliance with Uniform Guidance requirements
• Apply audit procedures to Management's Discussion and Analysis
• Verify work eligibility status of new employees
