Buyer seeks a qualified consultant to provide public outreach and technical services for green waste processing facilities and landfills. The services include educating communities about the environmental benefits of composting organic waste. • Prepare comprehensive community outreach plan for green waste processing facilities
• Facilitate public meetings to present proposed organics processing project
• Create outreach materials including flyers, e-blasts, and educational literature
• Document community concerns and feedback
• Evaluate modifications to facilities for SB 1383 compliance
• Provide landfill post-closure maintenance technical support
• Assist with landfill gas collection system monitoring and maintenance
• Conduct home composting and urban gardening workshops for residents
• Prepare environmental and technical documents for permitting
• Develop cost estimates for facility modifications and improvements
• Support settlement studies and gas collection system analyses
• Educate communities on environmental benefits of organic waste composting
