The support providers will play a critical role in providing expertise and guidance to schools and districts. They will utilize evidence-based literacy practices within a Multi-Tiered System of Support framework to drive literacy achievement and ensure equitable access to high-quality instruction. The initiative covers literacy support from birth through grade 12 with emphasis on supporting literacy leadership, implementing evidence-based practices, and providing professional learning.

- Demonstrate knowledge of Science of Reading across all age groups
- Develop strategies supporting literacy for students with disabilities and ELs
- Assist districts implementing comprehensive literacy approach
- Offer expertise in high-quality instructional materials adoption
- Support curriculum development and assessment strategies
- Provide intervention strategies and system-level improvement initiatives
- Coach educators in literacy instruction and improvement efforts
