Buyer seeks a certified public accounting firm to perform annual financial audits, assist with ACFR preparation, and conduct Single Audits when required. The engagement will be for five years with an option to extend. Buyer operates under a council-manager government form and provides services including police, fire, parks, utilities, and community development.

• 6/27/2025 - Questions Due
• 7/11/2025 - Proposal Due Date
• 7/21/2025 - Interviews (if needed)
• 8/5/2025 - Selection and Notification
• 8/19/2025 - Council Approval

• Audit financial statements using GAAS and GAS standards
• Prepare financial statements including government-wide section adjustments
• Assist with Annual Comprehensive Financial Report preparation
• Conduct Single Audit when federal funds exceed $750,000
• Prepare Schedule of Expenditures of Federal Awards when needed
• Present audit findings to Finance Committee and City Council
• Provide management letter with recommendations if applicable
• Complete audit field work in March each year
• Finalize financial statements by June 30 for state filing
• Provide guidance on GASB updates and implementation
