Buyer seeks qualified individuals to facilitate Adult Mental Health First Aid training programs. Instructors will teach skills needed to identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental health and substance abuse challenges. Facilitators will work in pairs to help adults learn to recognize mental health issues and provide appropriate support. Services include teaching both online and in-person classes covering various mental health conditions and crisis intervention strategies.

• 7/10/2025 - Proposal Due Date

• Must be a fully certified MHFA Instructor
• Must have completed MHFA Instructor Training
• Must be available evenings and Saturdays

• Facilitate Adult Mental Health First Aid training programs
• Teach 5-step strategy for assisting individuals in mental health crisis
• Co-facilitate classes with another instructor
• Cover depression, anxiety, trauma, psychosis, and substance use disorders
• Conduct classes online or in-person as scheduled
• Prepare materials for each training class
• Debrief after each class session
• Assist with preparation for day-of-class needs
• Provide continuing education support
• Teach minimum of three classes per year
