- Disseminate the Agency's Prescription Drugs Are Still Drugs media campaign
- Implement SAMHSA Opioid Overdose Prevention and Response Toolkit
- Implement CDC Clinical Practice Guideline for Prescribing Opioids for Pain
- Select and implement an evidence-based environmental strategy addressing prescription drug misuse
- Focus on youth ages 12-17 and young adults 18-25
- Promote environmentally responsible medication disposal programs
- Collaborate with a substance abuse prevention-focused coalition
- Complete the Tri-Ethnic Readiness Survey
- Promote the Iowa Youth Survey to schools
- Attend required trainings and conferences
- Meet monthly with capacity coach
- Complete all required program reports and evaluations
- Adhere to Cultural and Linguistic Appropriate Services Standards
- Reduce prescription drug misuse for 6th, 8th, 11th grades by 3%
- Link with local board of health
- Support and implement the SPF steps
- Ensure coalition/Collaboration Council meets monthly
- Complete SPF Rx close-out reporting by September 22, 2026
