Buyer is seeking qualified Certified Public Accounting firms to audit financial statements for fiscal years 2025 through 2031. The agreement will be awarded for an initial three-year period with the possibility of four additional one-year contract extensions. The auditor must express an opinion on the fair presentation of financial statements and prepare required management reports in accordance with Florida statutes and generally accepted accounting principles.

• 6/19/2025 - Pre-Proposal Meeting (Non-Mandatory)
• 6/27/2025 - Question Submission Deadline
• 7/10/2025 - Proposal Due Date

• Successfully completed entity-wide financial audits of five municipal governmental entities
• Principals performed continuous CPA services for minimum five years
• Member of American Institute of CPAs and Florida Institute of CPAs
• Independent of the City of Stuart per auditing standards
• Experience performing Single Audit in accordance with federal standards

• Perform annual financial audit in accordance with GAAP standards
• Prepare management reports and other required reports
• Provide assistance for ACFR submission to GFOA
• Complete fieldwork on-site by established deadlines
• Perform separate financial audit for Community Redevelopment Agency
• Express opinion on fair presentation of financial statements
• Attend public meetings to discuss audit report
• Conduct entrance and exit conferences with Finance Department
• Submit detailed audit plan for fiscal year end
• Provide preliminary draft of financials by February 28
