Buyer seeks contractors with expertise in audience research, marketing, and planning to enhance awareness of substance misuse, including cannabis. The project focuses on two population categories: pregnant/breastfeeding individuals and youth under 25. Research will identify effective communication methods for prevention, education, and capacity-building tailored to these audiences. The project includes developing and testing culturally responsive messages specific to each population category.

- Experience conducting market research at statewide level with diverse individuals
- Must clearly state population category(s) responding to in proposal
- Conduct market research on perspectives of cannabis use among pregnant individuals
- Develop and test culturally responsive prevention messages for youth under 25
- Conduct audience research with diverse youth populations regarding substance misuse
- Identify community organizations with influence over target populations
- Develop communication strategies for engagement with pregnant and breastfeeding individuals
- Test messaging with target groups across cultural, age, and gender identities
- Create contact lists for future communication and outreach
- Engage youth in building understanding about perceptions of substance use
- Develop recommendations for a comprehensive substance use prevention plan
- Analyze data from audience research to inform messaging development
