Buyer seeks a contractor to provide marketing and event management services. The successful proposer will execute a strategic marketing plan, produce three annual public events, and coordinate PR and sponsorship efforts. Buyer represents 400+ businesses in San Diego's historic Gaslamp Quarter and drives over 7 million annual visitors. The contract term is three years with two optional one-year extensions.

• Develop and execute annual marketing and communications plan
• Conceptualize and produce three distinct annual public events
• Create sponsor decks and secure event sponsors
• Draft and distribute press releases
• Coordinate advertising, promotions, and campaign rollouts
• Organize press briefings and media support at events
• Provide post-campaign/media impact reports
• Implement hybrid and virtual event integration
• Develop and maintain media contact database
• Support crisis communication efforts when necessary
• Secure necessary permits, security, and traffic plans
• Source talent, contractors, and production support
• Present event updates at board meetings
• Manage sponsor relationships and fulfill activation agreements
• Provide real-time analytics for event ROI
• Implement accessibility and inclusive technology
• Consult on brand presence across all channels
• Report performance analytics monthly
