Buyer seeks non-profit organizations to support the Greening the Gateway Cities Program through outreach, education, and community engagement. The program aims to bring public health, environmental, and energy efficiency benefits of expanded tree canopy to Gateway Cities. Projects must raise awareness and encourage residents within planting areas to participate in the program. Neighborhood canvassing and direct outreach activities are highly recommended.

• Non-profit 501(c)(3) organization status

• Conduct targeted neighborhood canvassing within GGCP planting zones using ArcGIS FieldMaps
• Distribute marketing materials to residents and homeowners in planting areas
• Create and share urban forestry social media content
• Develop community tree watering or 'Adopt a Tree' programs
• Host training programs for proper tree care and maintenance
• Organize community outreach events to expand interest in tree planting
• Communicate with non-English speaking residents through translation services
• Track measurable goals like number of households contacted
• Coordinate efforts with DCR Forestry staff and local municipalities
• Submit progress reports documenting outreach accomplishments
