Buyer seeks a qualified organization to provide consultation, technical assistance, and expertise to support family leaders' engagement in Maternal and Child Health (MCH) efforts. The focus is on Children and Youth with Special Health Care Needs (CYSHCN) population and their families. The contractor will serve as the Title V community representative, provide family perspective consultation, and build capacity of family leaders to engage in policy and systems-level efforts. The contract is for one year with potential for four additional one-year renewals.

• Minimum eight years experience working with Title V MCH program
• Subject matter expertise in community engagement with focus on children and youth
• Experience supporting/partnering with network of trained family leaders/organizations
• Experience participating on advisory committees
• Experience attending national conferences
• Approved policy that guides community engagement including compensation

• Provide consultation from a family leader perspective for MCH Block Grant implementation
• Serve as Title V community representative for MCH Block Grant
• Represent Colorado at national MCH forums and conferences
• Attend annual MCH Block Grant Review with state and federal partners
• Recruit and compensate family leaders for policy discussions
• Provide technical assistance to MCH priority coordinators
• Support family engagement focused on CYSHCN population
• Attend Community Advisory Board meetings
• Attend Early Childhood Screening and Referral Policy meetings
• Identify family members to participate in CoPPCAP Echo Learning Sessions
