• Understanding of California's Child Welfare System
• Knowledge of child abuse prevention services
• Understanding of California five-year prevention plan
• Experience in policy development and program management
• Understanding of county or tribal fiscal systems

• Synthesize and connect systems to ensure program coordination
• Build service capacity in local communities and counties
• Develop fiscal analyses and sustainable prevention funding strategies
• Research and write program guidance and implementation tools
• Identify implementation barriers and develop solutions
• Support Mandated Reporting Advisory Committee coordination
• Manage subcommittees and track deliverables and deadlines
• Integrate with California Automated Response and Engagement System
• Facilitate stakeholder engagement and focus groups
• Prepare budget proposals, agreements, contracts and grants
