Instructional Design Consultant for Professional Development Content

NJSACC: New Jersey's Afterschool and Out-of-School Time Professional Network

Buyer seeks an Instructional Design Consultant to develop professional development content for afterschool and out-of-school time programs in New Jersey. The consultant will work with buyer's staff to create engaging learning experiences through their newly adopted Learning Management System. Deliverables include needs assessment, staff training, instructional design plans, asynchronous training modules, and documentation templates.

• 6/16/2025 - Pre-Proposal Zoom Meeting
• 6/30/2025 - Proposal Due Date
• 7/14/2025 - Finalist Interviews
• 8/1/2025 - Project Start Date
• 6/30/2026 - Project End Date

• Experience with instructional design process
• Technology experience with Learning Management Systems
• Prior work with afterschool/OST nonprofit or education organizations
• Ability to perform work in New Jersey

• Conduct instructional strategy and needs assessment
• Develop instructional design recommendations for afterschool programs
• Deliver staff orientation on eLearning best practices
• Create instructional design plans for asynchronous modules
• Develop content for LMS integration
• Design at least 2 fully developed asynchronous trainings
• Create templates for ongoing content development
• Integrate learning materials with newly adopted LMS
• Collaborate with subject matter experts in afterschool education
• Prepare final report with lessons learned and recommendations
