Isaac Elementary School District, #5

Buyer is seeking a qualified CPA firm to provide audit services. Buyer is currently in receivership status that may take ten or more years to recover from and is in non-compliance with multiple findings in its USFR reporting. Buyer needs assistance going back 3-4 years to correct Journal Entries, coding issues, filing 915 requests, and working with the County Treasurer. The contract will be for one-year with up to four one-year renewals.

• 5/31/2025 - Release Project Date
• 6/12/2025 - Pre-Proposal Meeting
• 6/12/2025 - Question Submission Deadline
• 6/30/2025 - Proposal Due Date

• Qualified CPA firm with USFR audit experience
• Experience with school districts in receivership status
• Ability to address and correct historical financial issues
• Capacity to work with districts having compliance findings

• Conduct annual financial audit in compliance with USFR
• Review and correct Journal Entries dating back 3-4 years
• Address multiple USFR non-compliance findings
• Work with district in receivership status
• File 915 requests as needed
• Coordinate with County Treasurer on financial matters
• Prepare comprehensive audit reports and findings
• Present audit findings to the governing board
• Provide recommendations for financial control improvements
• Complete Federal Clearing House reporting requirements
