Buyer operates a fully integrated healthcare system including hospitals, clinics, and a medical plan. The engagement covers five fiscal years starting with 2025.

• 5/30/2025 - Questions due
• 6/20/2025 - Answers from Denver Health
• 6/30/2025 - Proposal Due Date
• 7/1/2025 - Evaluation review
• 7/18/2025 - Finalist interviews
• 8/29/2025 - Award

• Minimum 5 years' experience auditing healthcare clients with revenues $500M and greater
• Registered CPA firm in Colorado
• 2 CFR 200 (Single) accounting and auditing experience
• Health Maintenance Organization Insurance and Statutory-basis accounting experience
• Foundation experience and related fund accounting experience
• Captive insurance accounting and auditing experience

• Conduct annual audit of Authority's Basic Financial Statements including GASB reports
• Perform Single Audit for federal program awards compliance (2 CFR 200, Subpart F)
• Prepare debt covenant compliance report under Master Trust Indenture
• Complete ACUTE Financial Report agreed-upon procedures
• Perform Primary Care Fund Application agreed-upon procedure report
• Conduct retirement plan audits for 457(b) and 401(a) plans
• Prepare multiple Form 990 tax returns including UBIT where applicable
• Audit Denver Health Medical Plan statutory financial statements
• Audit Denver Health Foundation financial statements
• Provide FASB, GASB and SAP regulatory updates
