Town of Ahoskie

Buyer seeks a qualified vendor to develop and administer a program for managing and disseminating information to the public. The contractor will live stream town council meetings, manage the ConnectAhoskie Application, implement agenda management software, and perform website and social media management. Buyer aims to encourage open communication and civic engagement through these services. The initial contract is for six months with an option to extend.

• 6/13/2025 - Mandatory Pre-Submittal Meeting
• 6/27/2025 - Proposal Due Date
• 7/7/2025 - Proposal Evaluation Complete
• 7/10/2025 - Contract in Process

• Thorough knowledge of English language including grammar and spelling
• Thorough knowledge of NC public information laws
• Considerable knowledge of publication layout and design
• Website editing and graphic design experience
• Commercial General Liability insurance ($1M occurrence, $2M aggregate)
• Worker's Compensation & Employers Liability insurance if applicable

• Live stream all regular town council meetings
• Manage the 'ConnectAhoskie' application for citizen notifications
• Create and implement agenda management software to digitize meeting agendas
• Monitor and manage multiple social media channels with weekly posts
• Produce social media content for special Town events
• Enhance push notification application for citizens interested in Town activities
• Disseminate information about Town programs and services
• Maintain knowledge of NC public information laws
• Apply publication layout and design expertise
• Demonstrate website editing and graphic design skills
