Food Export - Midwest and Food Export - Northeast

Buyer seeks one or more representatives to assist in market development for processed foods, pet foods, food ingredients, seafood, and wood products in Central America. The representative will perform trade servicing, organize trade missions, conduct market research, coordinate promotional activities, and implement special projects. Services include Food Show PLUS!, Market Builder, Focused Trade Missions, Buyers Missions, product showcases, and importer education programs.

• Previous experience planning similar activities for food products
• Working effectively with people via telephone, email, and in person
• Experience with not-for-profit groups preferred
• Experience with international marketing preferred
• Experience with food/agricultural groups preferred

• Trade servicing in Central America for U.S. food exporters
• Conducting Food Show PLUS! trade show services
• Providing Market Builder research and distributor referrals
• Organizing Buyers Missions for Central American importers
• Coordinating Focused Trade Missions for U.S. exporters
• Conducting Virtual Consultations with exporters
• Qualifying sales leads from trade activities
• Organizing Product Showcases at international trade shows
• Implementing retail and foodservice promotions
• Developing education programs for international importers
