Buyer seeks architectural design services for a new multi-level, multifunction building in downtown Quincy to house a Performing Arts Center. The building will include a ground level civic space, a performing arts venue accommodating 1500+ people, and space for the Adams Presidential Center. Buyer requires a design that complements local historical buildings and allows for both separate autonomous events and joint functions.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture plus five years' experience
• Registration as a Structural Professional Engineer (PE)
• Experience with similar scope projects in historic urban setting
• Current licenses in architecture, engineering, planning, and environmental studies

• Develop preliminary architectural concepts and feasibility studies
• Conduct charrette creation and public meetings on evolving concepts
• Coordinate with future users and tenants
• Develop architectural design for multi-level, multifunction building
• Provide structural engineering design
• Lead MA Chapter 149A CMaR project procurement and delivery
• Prepare designs and specifications for trade contractors
• Manage State and local permitting processes
• Provide construction phase architectural services
• Coordinate commissioning agent services
• Design flexible event space accommodating 1500+ people
• Create ground level civic space and common entry
• Design exterior to complement local historical buildings
• Lead robust public outreach process
• Assist in evaluating space configuration opportunities and challenges
• Prepare design documents for construction manager at risk delivery
• Collaborate with Adams Presidential Center Foundation
