Buyer seeks a qualified Director of School and District Safety and Security to oversee safety initiatives across twenty-two school facilities. The position requires developing policies, coordinating security programs, and ensuring a safe educational environment. Buyer needs someone with law enforcement background who can work with first responders and conduct threat assessments. The contract will run for 3 years from July 2025 to June 2028.

• Develop and implement safety and security policies and procedures
• Coordinate district-wide safety and security programs
• Evaluate effectiveness of safety and security programs
• Conduct vulnerability and threat assessments
• Create and maintain emergency operations plans
• Train staff on emergency protocols and procedures
• Lead schools in emergency drills to ensure compliance
• Collaborate with local police, fire, and mental health professionals
• Implement emergency notification systems
• Facilitate behavioral threat assessment processes
