Buyer seeks a contractor to provide scrap metal pickup, removal, and recycling services. The contract includes placement of containers, pickup of full containers, recycling of materials, and payment to buyer for recycled materials. The initial contract is for one year with options to renew for four additional one-year periods. This is a revenue generating contract for the buyer.

• Provide 30-40 cubic yard roll-off container for ferrous scrap metal collection
• Pick up full containers within 48 hours of request
• Replace full containers with empty ones of same size
• Provide accurate weight tickets for every scrap metal pickup
• Recycle all metal scrap according to Virginia regulations
• Process non-ferrous metals and bundled/baled aluminum cans
• Provide monthly payments for recycled materials
• Use market-based pricing approach for scrap metal
• Maintain containers in good, serviceable condition with no leakage
• Respond during regular work hours Monday through Friday
