• Extensive background in healthcare-associated infection prevention and control
• Consultants must have CIC certification
• Consultants must be licensed nurses or physicians
• Experience in infection prevention and control in healthcare settings

• Perform 200 ICAR assessments in skilled nursing facilities
• Develop written recommendations and action plans for IPC practices
• Provide technical assistance to Ohio skilled nursing facilities
• Develop letter/report templates for facility assessments
• Identify a project manager with experience leading similar initiatives
• Submit monthly progress reports by the 10th of following month
• Schedule quarterly calls for progress updates
• Submit comprehensive final project report
• Coordinate with ODH to identify target facilities
• Develop customized resources to address identified infection control gaps
