Buyer seeks qualified certified public accountants to prepare and audit financial statements for three fiscal years ending June 30, 2025, 2026, and 2027, with option to extend for two additional years. Services include preparation of financial statements, Single Audit, and required state reports. Buyer requires audits performed in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards and government auditing standards. Buyer uses Springbrook financial software and has a General Fund Budget of approximately $22 million.

• Licensed to practice as CPAs in California
• Independent of the City of St. Helena
• Qualified to perform government audits
• Experience with GFOA Certificate of Achievement program
• Adequate technical expertise in municipal finance

• Prepare financial statements in compliance with GASB standards
• Conduct financial and compliance audit of City records
• Prepare Report of Financial Transactions for State Controller's Office
• Complete Annual Streets Report
• Perform Single Audit if expenditure criteria are met
• Examine internal accounting controls and provide recommendations
• Present audit findings to City Council
• Assist with implementation of new GASB pronouncements
• File reports electronically with State Controller's Office
• Provide ongoing technical support and advisory services
