Mechanical Street Sweeping Services - Phoenix Metropolitan Area

Buyer seeks a contractor to provide mechanical street sweeping and large debris collection services for Interstate and secondary highways in the Phoenix Maintenance Area. Services include removal and disposal of debris accumulated along various State highways. Contractor must furnish all labor, tools, equipment, supplies, and materials including attenuators. Sweeping shall be performed during night hours from 8:00 PM to 4:30 AM Sunday through Friday.

• PM-10 compliant mechanical broom sweepers
• Ability to operate at highway speeds of 55 mph
• TL-3 Truck Mounted Attenuator for all operations
• GPS-equipped vehicles with web-based portal access
• Immediate communication devices in all vehicles

• Perform mechanical street sweeping on highways and secondary roads
• Remove and dispose of accumulated debris at legal dump sites
• Use truck-mounted attenuators during all sweeping operations
• Perform large debris collection prior to sweeping operations
• Clean gore points between roadways and entrance/exit ramps
• Sweep pork chops and traffic circles on same schedule as ramps
• Maintain detailed daily work reports of all sweeping activities
• Maintain GPS-equipped vehicles with web portal access
• Respond to non-emergency extra work requests within 5 business days
• Control dust using water during sweeping operations
