- Prepare project cost estimate for application preparation
- Prepare plans and specifications for downtown street improvements
- Distribute bid documents to potential contractors
- Assist in bid opening and prepare bid tabulation
- Assist in execution of construction contracts
- Hold pre-construction conference with selected contractors
- Perform construction inspection including periodic reports
- Approve all payment requests during construction
- Provide engineering services through project closeout
- Ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations
