Workforce Subject Matter Experts

Buyer seeks to establish a pre-qualified list of workforce subject matter experts to provide services on an as-needed basis. These experts must be familiar with the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act serving adults, dislocated workers, and youth. Buyer requires expertise across multiple disciplines including career preparation, project management, economic research, curriculum development, and quality assurance. Selected vendors will be placed on a bench for future contracting opportunities with no guarantee of work.

• Qualification to conduct business in Long Beach
• Not having been debarred by government entities
• Minimum of three years experience including references

• Develop career preparation and life skills workshops for youth and adults
• Provide project management for short-term workforce development projects
• Conduct economic research and workforce analysis on labor market changes
• Develop resource development and capacity building services
• Create curriculum for occupational and workforce training programs
• Implement quality assurance and continuous improvement practices
• Perform oversight monitoring of WIOA programs
• Write grants and develop workforce-related projects
• Deliver consulting workshops and seminars for employers
• Create media and graphic design for workforce program materials
