Buyer seeks a firm to provide temporary certified substitute teacher services for the 2025-26 school year. The selected vendor will be exclusively responsible for providing substitute teachers for all teaching staff positions on an as-needed basis. Buyer has approximately 4,850 students and 500 teaching staff members. Services include recruiting, credentialing, training, and placing substitute teachers with current daily rates ranging from $140 to $200 per day.

• Three years experience providing substitute teacher services to NJ schools
• Experience with K-12 school districts of similar size
• Minimum of three New Jersey-based clients of similar scope
• Ability to provide online placement technology system
• Comprehensive liability insurance of $2,000,000 minimum

• Provide certified substitute teachers on an as-needed basis
• Implement online placement technology system for substitute management
• Conduct hiring, credentialing, and training of substitute teachers
• Ensure substitute teachers have criminal background checks completed
• Maintain compliance with NJ Department of Education requirements
• Provide long-term, building-based, and daily substitute teachers
• Offer training programs for newly hired substitute teachers
• Develop transition process for implementation of substitute services
• Maintain adequate staffing levels to meet district demand
• Provide detailed reporting on fill rates and coverage metrics
