Buyer is soliciting proposals for Special Education nursing services to support students with complex medical needs. Services include providing RNs, LPNs, and CNAs to follow student health care plans in school settings. Buyer requires nursing support for approximately 3-5 students with nursing needs and 5 CNAs supporting Team classes. The contract will run for five years with an option to renew for one additional year.

- For CNAs, listed on Connecticut Nurse Aide Registry
- Multiple language proficiency is a plus
- Provide skilled nursing care for students with complex medical needs
- Support students during field trips for up to 7 hours daily
- Monitor students medically to/from school on bus transportation
- Provide classroom medical care when school nurse cannot
- Follow student health care plans within school day routine
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Provide mobility support for students
- Monitor vital signs and report changes in condition
- Support nutritional needs including meal assistance
- Document care provided and observations
