MUWWTP UV Disinfection Replacement

Buyer needs to replace the Muddy Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant's UV disinfection system which has reached the end of its useful life. The current system lacks redundancy at peak flow conditions and the manufacturer no longer supports the model. Buyer requires professional engineering services throughout planning, design, and construction phases to evaluate alternatives, replace the UV system, upgrade the backup system, and address structural and electrical deficiencies.

• Experience with UV disinfection systems at wastewater treatment plants
• Experience as Engineer of Record for similar projects
• Ability to meet 13% SBE inclusion goal

• Replace existing UV disinfection system
• Upgrade back-up disinfection system
• Address structural, mechanical, and electrical equipment deficiencies
• Prepare Business Case Evaluation with alternatives analysis
• Perform environmental and ecological services
• Conduct hydrologic evaluation and modeling
• Provide subsurface utility investigations
• Prepare construction plans, specifications, and cost estimates
• Provide construction administration and field engineering
• Develop SCADA configuration and training materials
